You need a login to your Stripe Dashboard. If you don't have access, ask the account owner to invite you.
Which reader should I buy?
Taking payments in the field from the iOS or Android app (US): Stripe Reader M2.
Taking payments in the field from the iOS or Android app (Canada): BBPOS WisePad 3.
Taking payments at the counter from your desktop TMS: Stripe Reader S700, S710, or T600.
Need to keep taking payments during a short internet outage: Stripe Reader S710 or T600 (offline mode).
Location without reliable WiFi: Stripe Reader S710 (cellular connection).

Things to know
Stripe Reader M2 works only with the mobile apps. It cannot be used with a desktop TMS. It connects to your mobile device over Bluetooth.
S700, S710, and T600 are smart readers with a touchscreen. Register them through your desktop application.
S710 and T600 support offline mode, so you can keep taking payments during a short internet outage. The S710 also has a cellular connection for locations without reliable WiFi.
BBPOS WisePad 3 is only available to customers in Canada. It connects to your mobile device over Bluetooth or USB. US customers should order the Stripe Reader M2 instead.
BBPOS WisePOS E will be discontinued soon. Existing WisePOS E readers keep working with your desktop application.
How to order a reader in Stripe
Go to dashboard.stripe.com and log in to your account.
In the left-hand menu, click Payments, then click Terminal.
Click the Hardware orders tab, then click the Shop button at the top right.
Select your reader(s). Choose a mobile reader for your TMS iOS or Android app, or a desktop reader for your desktop application.
Click Cart at the top right and follow the checkout steps to enter your business, shipping, and payment details.
Submit your order.
What happens next
You'll receive an email confirmation with your order details.
Your reader ships via UPS Ground and arrives in 2-3 business days.

Where do I buy a card reader for TowPay?

Which reader works with the driver app on my phone or tablet?
The Stripe Reader M2 for US customers, or the BBPOS WisePad 3 for customers in Canada. Both connect to your mobile device over Bluetooth.
Can I use the Stripe Reader M2 with my desktop TMS?
No. The M2 works only with the iOS and Android apps. For a desktop TMS, order the S700, S710, or T600.
Which readers keep working if my internet goes down?
The Stripe Reader S710 and T600 support offline mode, so you can keep taking payments during a short internet outage.
My location doesn't have reliable WiFi. Which reader should I get?
The Stripe Reader S710. It has a cellular connection in addition to WiFi and Ethernet.
Can I still buy or use the BBPOS WisePOS E?
The WisePOS E will be discontinued soon. Existing WisePOS E readers keep working with your desktop application. For a new desktop reader, consider the S700, S710, or T600.
I'm in the US. Can I order the BBPOS WisePad 3?
No. The WisePad 3 is only available in Canada. US customers should order the Stripe Reader M2.
What cards and payment types do the readers accept?
All readers accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover through chip insert (EMV), tap, and mobile wallets like Apple Pay and Google Pay.
How long does shipping take?
